new man in my life

I can't remember where I left off. I will get back to the trip stories, friend stories, and other tales at some point. Right now, I have a boy story.

He's adorable. He's got big, big deep blue eyes. For now, anyway. Cute little toes. Long, destined-to-play-piano-like-his-mom fingers.

And best of all, he likes me. He smiled at me a little bit the night I met him. That was the moment I was smitten.

When he was crying as his grandma held him, I offered to hold him. And he quieted right down. He likes his auntie.

And this auntie is very much looking forward to hanging out with the new man in the family, my nephew.

Oh, RG, on the night of my son's high school graduation, I got to play with a five month old, chubby baby boy. It was delightful! I'd forgotton how much I enjoy the scent of a baby.

The only men in my life right now are teenagers and buddies, and that's just fine with me. :-)

Oh, you had me going there...hehe.

I just love to smell their sweet baby heads. Why do their heads always smell so darn good?

PS. I nearly replied to you from another account to make sure the email didn't get eaten again. Yahoo is disturbing my calm!!

Awww! Yay for babies that you get to hold and play with and snuggle - without having to go to the trouble of growing one! :)

Hi ramblin girl,

Back in November, I was trying to figure out how to share my photo's with friends. During this trial and tribulation time, I created a blog promising to post future photo's. Here it is July and you were one of the very few that stopped in to say hey.

In the meantime, I also created a website, which to me, was easier than the blog.

With all that said, I have been posting my photo's there. If you are still interested in seeing some photo's check out

I enjoyed looking through your blog again, as I did last November when I took my first plunge into bloggism. I noticed you had been to Moab. OK I'm officially jealous. Moab is next on my radar. I've heard so many good things about it. Can't wait to photograph it.
